“JNG fishing trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

Enjoyed my 3 day stay at the Cullars Inn. The staff were very accommodating. Rooms were clean and spacious with two queen beds and clean linen, with a table and microwave and fridge. Ice machine available with plenty of ice for coolers. Had a Hardee's and Huddle House next door, with a laundromat/car wash and a convenience store across street. All within easy walking distance. Room rates very affordable. Secure parking lot for your boat, places to plug up your boat charger. Next fishing trip I will stay with them again. Overall great place to stay with family or guys on a fishing trip.

“Out of the way, but worth the drive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2012

Unwilling to fork over the dough for the ridiculously-inflated lodging prices in Augusta for Masters' week, we decided to look elsewhere. Just 35 short minutes away (it's a straight shot east on Washington which goes right past Augusta National) is the Cullars Inn. Not quite sure what we were getting, but more than happy to give it a shot at $48 a night, we could not have been more surprised! Spotlessly clean, large rooms and friendly service. This place is immaculately well-maintained. The downside? If you want anything real to eat (other than Hardees or Huddle House, ugh!) bring a grill or eat in Augusta. If you like to swim, stop off at the Cherokee launch ramp midway on the drive ... Clark's Hill/Strom Thurmond is a beautiful lake. As of April 1, the motel changed hands. The new owners worked for the previous owners who retired. If they keep doing what they're doing, they should be very successful. Expect the price per night to go up $5 to $10. Still an awesome deal.
